PCOS - Post Ovarian Driling

Hi, I had Hysteroscopy and Laproscopic Ovarian drilling on 13th August 2012. My periods before this was on 1st August 2012. I am having Diane 35 since 05th August 2012 which was missed for one day(13th August as per Doctors advise). My Problem is that I am having bleeding like periods since 15th August 2012 and is still continuing. I want to know that reason why the bleeding occurs 11 days after the Ovarian drilling. Is this normal? I am feeling tired and weak day by day. Appreciate your assistance. |

Dear Gisha The drilling is supposed to shock the ovaries into normal physiological working and the bleed you had could well be the start of some sort of cycle. You should not worry for 21 days but if the bleeding continues and it is in great volume you should consult the gynecologist who has performed hysteroscopy. With regards M K Gupta |
