Dear Maribel Galvan

Laparoscopic Tubal patency test and ovarian drilling both are very safe procedure in experienced hand and as such there is no any risk involved in this surgery.

Ovarian drilling is laparoscopic surgical method, in addition to Ovarian Wedge Resection, that gynecologist have used to treat Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. The theory is similar to that of Ovarian Wedge Resection; by destroying ovarian tissue and reducing androgen production of the ovary, you can better manage symptoms.

This procedure should done with only care that if over drilling will be done there is chance of ovarian tissue damage due to the risk of ovarian scarring, so make sure to get a second opinion and exhaust all other treatment options.

With regards
