Dear doctor, i am from loni and 68 year old ,5 year back my gallbladder is removed due to multiple stone .But recently i am suffering from cbd stone.Which i have done ercp 5 month back but unable to extract the stone .and told me to do laproscopy.stent is situ. I have taken another dr advice and he told to do open surgery becouse riks to cbd become bottleneck and ston will form again. Now i have done recently usg and the report PROXIMAL,MID AND DISTAL CBD APPEAR DILATED MEASURED 17MM WITH CBD STENT IN SITU E/O 15.2MM AND 11.3MM CALCULUS CAN YOU PLS KINDLY GIVE me YOU OPINION |

Dear Sajid In this case you can opt for Open exploration of CBD. If ERCP is failed it may not be so easy to extract the stone by laparoscopy. |
