Uterine Fibroid

I have a large posterior intramural uterine fibroid which is partly submucosal and indenting towards the gestational sac. I have had two consequent missed abortions this year 2012 the first one being in May with 9 weeks pregnancy and the second one in November with 14 weeks pregnancy. During pregnancy I have had abdominal cramps and lower back pain on occasional basis. I am confused whether my missed abortions are a consequence of the uterine fibroid or not and what is the remedy to my condition. I am yet to have a child since my marriage in the year 2010. Presently I am 30 years old. During my second pregnancy I was on hormonal injections (Maintaine, hydroxy progesterone) and Naturogest along with Folsef and some antacids. I am totally distraught with my second missed abortion. I need urgent help in this regards. Dear Haimabati If you have repeated miscarriage is may be due to fibroid. Large fibroid sometime has the pressure effect and it will distort the uterine cavity.
