Dear Doctor I have a 15 month old daughter. During my full pregnancy I bled on and off. When she was born 15 months ago My bleeding became worse I began to bleed every month for 3 weeks out of the month. I tried 3 different contraceptive pills which did not work. This September i got the contraceptive implant inserted to my arm to try and curb the bleeding it has only progressed. I have bled now for 4 weeks without a break. I am growing increasingly concerned. My Gp has referred me for some internal and abdominal scans. What could be the cause of this. I have been basically suffering from persistent bleeding for 2 years. |

Dear Sarah Matthews Your problem may be due to some hormonal problem or due to any product remain inside the uterus. Please get one MRI done for the uterus and all the hormonal essay. If you will send all the report I can give you some good advice. With regards J S Chowhan |
