i have had blood in urine for a year was putting off seeing specaltist due to income i just had a tampon come out of my bladder it hurt like hell now my urine is clear but im having sharp pain down there is this possible |

Dear Elizabeth Lewis If you have all of these symptoms along with blood in your urine, you could have a bladder infection. Bladder infections are incredibly common in woman and they are addressed correctly with antibiotics after doing proper culture and sensitivity test. If you believe you have a bladder infection, you need to call your physician so you can get appropriate antibiotic treatment. Bleeding caused by a bladder infection should stop inside a couple of days after starting antibiotic treatment. In case you still need blood within your urine after your infection may be fully treated, you need to be re-evaluated from your doctor to discover the reason behind that bleeding and sometime cystoscopy is necessary.
