Appears to be a large blister on Chin? Area is Swollen

Swelling, it appears to be large blister or two on my chin on the left side. There is fluid and I did see some pus after squeezing for a while, it is large, about half of the chin, I didn't have swelling in the lip, but now have some...it had went down for a bit, but I guess when I bothered it again, now the lip has swelling in it. Thank you for your help on this wondering how did it happen. |

Dear Lila You did not mention the duration of your blister. As you say the pus is coming it could be simple boils and for this you should get some antibiotic after taking advice of some skill specialist. The diagnosis of skill disease is always made by doctors by seeing is as just by history diagnosis is difficult to make. Many times blister typically occurs outside the mouth; around the lips, chin and just under the nose, and are caused by Herpes Simplex Virus type 1. Some time it may be jusy simple infected pimples or infected sebaceous gland. So please consult any good skin specialist. With regards M.K. Gupta |
