End stage renal failure

Dear Doctor,

My uncle is suffering from end stage renal failure problem and my aunt is ready to donate one of her kidneys to him. Doctor is also agreed for this but surgeon who will do this transplantation, he has completed MBBS, MS, FICS(Urology) - Can he eligible to do Laproscopy kidney transplantation.

Please assist me because my uncle is more worried about this. Hope you can surely solve his doubt.

Dear Rakesh. M.B

The surgeon who can do renal transplant should be registered as transplant surgeon. Only qualification is not important but the surgeon should e eill experienced.
