Dear Mr Tiwari The VAAFT can be performed for your patient. It is minimal access surgery. Video assisted anal fistula treatment way is performed for the surgical treatment of complex anal fistulas in addition to their recurrences. Outline will be the correct localization with the internal fistula opening under vision, the fistula treatment from inside, along with the hermetic closure from the internal opening. It comprises two phases: a diagnostic one as well as an operative one. There is no need to learn the fistula classification which obviously saves time and cash. Moreover, surgical wounds within the perianal region are prevented and also the chance of faecal incontinence is avoided because no sphincter damages are provoked. With regard J S Chowhan |
