Dear Anita Laparoscopic ovarian drilling is a minimal access surgical treatment that can trigger ovulation in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Electrocautery harmonic or a laser is used to destroy parts of the one or both ovaries. This laparoscopic surgery is not commonly used in every case. But it can be an option for women who are still not ovulating after losing weight and trying fertility medicines. If you can not afford IVF you should try to get laparoscopic ovarian drilling.
