I had an HSG test and the result says Parafimbrial Adhesions in Tubes. My Doctor advised to go for a laparoscopy. Please advise about the outcome of the test and also give an idea about the cost of this test? Thanks, Neetu |

Dear Neetu Laparoscopic Fimbrioplasty is a good option in your case. at World Laparoscopy Hospital, Diagnostic Laparoscopy, Tubal Patency test and Fimbrioplasty will cost you 30,000 rupees. The definition of fimbrioplasty is preferred over salpingostomy or perhaps opening the Fallopian tube, since salpingostomy does not address quite role in the fimbriae. Reconstruction, properly delivered to preserve and release the multiple delicate fimbriae, is important to creating pregnancy possible. The operation should not be performed until an entire infertility evaluation in the couple has been created. The objective of the operation is to start the obstructed Fallopian tube and salvage enough purpose of the fimbriae allowing successful entrapment and transport the oocyte. In the event the adhesions have been completely removed, the clubbed end of the Fallopian tube could be identified; it needs to be opened with the cautery over a low setting. Bright light and HD visual magnification will aid the laparoscopic surgeon in performing this delicate task. With regards J S Chowhan |
