Female age 52 considering gastric sleeve surgery after trying to lose weight for five years. Only 25 kilos overweight with a BMI of 31.2. Have been turned down in my country as the BMI is low. Deciding to go overseas for procedure but unsure of my decision. Am I doing the right thing. |

Dear Yasmin Ismail If the female has any comorbidity then you can get sleeve gastrectomy done otherwise it is not recommended to get any bariatric invasive surgery done at BMI 31. With regard J S Chowhan |
