Dear Tanveer Ansari Laparoscopic Splenectomy is a good option and can be tried in your mother. You should bring your mother to us so that we can fully examine your mother and make out the decision about the safety of laparoscopy. With regard Sadhana |

Had ct scan done, requested by urologist, due to many utis. From the scan the radiologist indicated that I have 4 cyst on spleen, one is 3.0cm x 2.5cm. I follow up with urologist in 2 weeks. Should I try and get in sooner? Reply: It's important to follow up with your urologist as scheduled, especially since they ordered the CT scan. However, if you're feeling anxious or have specific concerns about the cysts on your spleen, it's worth discussing with your urologist to see if an earlier appointment is possible. They can provide guidance based on your individual situation. |
