HELLO DOCTOR, My name is viji,i am 30 yrs old.I got married in 2011 . We want to have a baby now. We met a doctor and it was found that i had pcod .On 15-4-2013 i did Hysteolaproscopy because i wanted to make my periods regular.On 16-5-2013 i had my first cycles after the surgery. But on June i did not have my cycles till today. I was told that i will get regular periods after the surgery .My question is will everybody get regular cycles after laproscopy? My laparoscopy is only one month old but still i am not having regular cycles. When can i take my pregnancy test?My LH level is 12.96u/ml,FSH-5.7MLU/ML,TSH-4.4ULU/ML. Is there any issue getting pregnancy?. Hope you will answer me soon. Thank you |

Dear Vijimol. J. V After Laparoscopic Ovarian drilling sometime it takes two three months to get menses normal. However you should look for other hormonal factors responsible for the irregular menses. Your gynecologist who has done the surgery would be the best person to give you explanation.
