Sir I 32 years old male with 94 kg weight.(Let me mention about my history of health :- I never smoke in my life time, I dink occasionally in party occasionally eat non-veg and in my endoscopy there is not found nay hernia but LEX LES) before last three I am never show the symptoms of GERD but when my weight goes up to 100 kg and I feel depression my Doctor advise me to reduce the weight so I start exercise in morning as well as evaning like heavy bending my stomach a the all up start first stuck phlegm in my throat then cough in night and after meal if take raw onion in my salad to reduce my hypertension and stress now in my endoscopy doctor Gastro write in my report that it si gastritis and my ENT proscribe me pentovon-D 40 mg twice a day these medicine suck. I want to know that is really I am suffering from GERD now soon I am going to die. can your renowned institution can help in that. Can I live the longer life like 10 years or 20 years. please help me please

Dear Mr Rajesh Kumar Sharma

In the patient of morbidly obesity, GERD is frequent, associated in about 40% of patients. GERD was significantly associated with LES hypotonia and OSA depending on BMI. So we request you to please reduce the weight.
