I stop my mentruation period 3 years ago. lately for 2 months i got my menstruation period. I went to my OB gyne and was asked for Transvaginal ultrasound. The finding is there is intramural myoma nodule 1.3 x 1.2 x 1.1 cm pushing the endometrium anteriorly. what am i supposed to do? is this serious? That much small myoma should not create bleeding. You should try to get some medical treatment first. If symptom persist then you should get myomectomy done. |

I have anterior intramural myoma measuring 3.65cm_3.48cm. I usually have heavy bleeding With thick clots. And also experience pelvic pain and pressure, please what should i do. Dear Flora Ambrose You deed not tell your age and number of children you have. Generally that much small fibroid does not has any problem but if this is symptomatic and you have above 50 year of age you can get laparoscopic myomectomy or hysterectomy done. If you are of menopausal age group you should wait as after menopause this fibroid will shrink in size. With regard Dr Nidhi |

My usg report shows small intramural myomas around 7-11 mm dmtr seen in uterus, ovaries are normal, cervix is normal, uterus is anteverted and pouch of Douglas: no free fluid seen. I am having left abdomin pain and heavy pain in stomach and no other symptopms. PLS SUGGEST MY TREATMENT..... With regards. Dear Manju You did not mention about your age and number of children you have. Your myoma is of small size but as it is giving you a problem you can plan for the surgery. Laparoscopy myomectomy can been done for this and you can get this done at World Laparoscopy Hospital. With Regards Dr Rahul |

Im a 35 ang turning 36 next year feb. 15. I have a son now age 1 year and 9mos. old, Im pregnant less than 5weeks. I undergo for my TVS last monday July 11, 2016. My remarks in my TVS is Posteriur myoma nodule and normal ovaries and corpus luteum in my lef ovary. Is this risky to my early pregnancy? And the baby inside will not affected? And my sonologist request me to comeback for two weeks fo another TVS.Hope you can answer. Thank you very much & God bless always. Dear Alheiza, You have not mention about your size in this. However it is not going to effect your pregnancy. You need to look for the size of the myoma when you go for the USG next time. But if it increases in size you can go for surgery after delivery. With regards Dr Rahul |
