Chest pains, throat tight ands sore, ears from acid reflux, burping, indigestion. I want to know wether having the LINX reflux surgery will be a good option for me. I donot want to be on PPI for the rest of my life.

Dear Avril Bahadur

Linx procedure is at present experimental stage so we will advice you to go for laparoscopic fundoplication. Before going for surgery you should get pH monitoring and esophageal manometry done.

Please keep it in mind that fundoplication has its own complications like dysphagia and others so patient selection is the paramount for this surgery.
