Mildly enlarged prostate

I had frequent urge to urinate and since July,2013 I am taking Roliflo OD 2 mg. capsule one a day before going to bed. I am a male aged 71 years. Night time I have visit bath room twice or thrice. All reports are normal .Prostate specific antigen is 0.95 and PVR is within 20 ml. Day time, I am to go to bath room once in two hours.Should I continue the medicine or there is need to change or increase dosage. |

Dear Annu Even if the prostate is mildly enlarged but it is creating symptoms you should get prostectomy done. However the other course of frequent urge of urine should also be ruled out. With regard J S Chowhan |
