Dear sir

My mother 65 yr, diagnosed (large axial hiatus hernia with mild esophagitis) by endoscopy report. She is on PPI medicine since 2 years. Symptoms like chest burn etc are still continued. My Doctor suggested for surgery.

Dear Manoj
The failure of Medical Treatment for Hiatus Hernia is one of the indication of surgery. The investigations required will be Barium Swallow,Upper G I endoscopy and Investigations for Pre Anasthesia Check up.Please get these tests done. You can visit our hospital with your mother and reports and discuss about date of surgery etc.

Thanks

Dr J S Chowhan
