Dear Doctor, My wife is a lady of 36 years, weighing about 130kg, with controlled hypertension. Have had four caesarian section. After the third c/s, barely 4 days post cs, had incisional hernia which increased progressively to a size of about 24 weeks [gestational size]. The hernia is not reducible and causes occasional pains. Please what is the treatment option, its cost and duration of treatment. Your reply is needed urgently. Thanks Henry Odita |

Dear Henry Odita You should get laparoscopic repair of inguinal hernia done as soon as possible. You need large size composite mesh. As is is big hernia and irreducible, you should get it done by an experienced laparoscopic surgeon. You can also opt to get operated at World Laparoscopy Hospital by Dr. R.K. Mishra.
