Dear Doctor My wife's both tubes are blocked & the uterus shapes is bicornuate. Due to this reason we have no child. When we are going to diagnose the problem, the Gynecologist is facing the problem to insert the HSG canuula in uterus.Doctor has suggested us for Hysterscopy / laparoscopy and Dye Test surgery for cleaning both the tubes. So please confirm is there any possibility to remove the hydrosalpinx from tube with Laparoscopy. And what will be the approximate cost of this procedure at World Laparoscopy Hospital. I belong to Ghaziabad, so please confirm on mail. Regard HARISH 9711520526 |

Dear Harish The cause of infertility of your wife is 1.Bicornuate Uterus and 2.Blocked Tubes.A bicornuate uterus is a uterus that has two horns and a heart shape. The uterus has a wall inside and a partial split outside. A bicornuate uterus is the most common congenital uterine anomaly - and can impact a woman's reproductive capabilities. The treatment involves Metroplasty surgery - to create a large uterine cavity with minimal destruction of uterine tissue is the treatment of choice. Cervical cerclage - improves the fetal survival rate in selected patients. Both metroplasty and a cervical cerclage may be prescribed. The reason of blocked tubes can be Bicornuate Uterus.Metroplasty is done hysteroscopically. If tubes are blocked chromopertubation can be done. The cost of these procedures will be around One lakh Fifty thousand Rupees,Rs.1,50,000/- Thanks with Regards Dr J S Chowhan |
