Dear Doctor, I am suffering from prolapse rectum for last 18 month. Please let me know if laparoscopy is possible in my case. My age is 51 year and i am diabetes patient. |

Dear Pranav Rai The treatment of prolapsed rectum is Laparoscopic Rectopexy. As with any other surgery the diabetes should be under control, age is no bar for laparoscopic surgery. you may send your reports for further advice.
