Dear Karina VAAFT stands for video assisted anal fistula treatment. It is done with a very small diameter telescope and under vision the fistulous tract is ablated and obliterated using fibrin glue. This surgery is suitable for small and recent fistulas. The recurrence rate in old and tortuous fistulas is significant. To get VAFFT done please send your latest reports along with MRI perineum to delineate fistula tract.
