Hello sir, I am 33 years old and I have a chocolate cyst of around 3-4cm on the left side and on the right side I have a small cyst of 19mm according to ultrasound and MRI reports, also the ovary on the left side is stuck behind the cyst. Tried IUI 3 times but could not conceive. What are the chances of fertility after cyst removal? Should we opt for IVF outright or IUI? Also, what are the chances of damage to the ovary or other organs at the time of the microscopy? I visited few doctors in Ahmadabad, but found that many of them are inexperienced or do not have the proper instruments for surgery. Few of the senior physicians do not operate directly; They used to call someone else and guide you through the surgery. Please guide us for this with all the necessary details as I am frustrated and depressed about this and if you can suggest 1 or 2 experienced Gynace laparoscopic surgeons in Ahmedabad it will be helpful. |

Dear Janki Naik You are having Endometriotic cysts in both the ovaries. The laparoscopic excision of this cysts is a safe surgery. It doesn't causes any damage to the ovaries. As regards IVF , since you have three failed IUI so now you should go for IVF but consult IVF specialist before taking any decision. You can visit any big corporate hospital in Ahmedabad and enquire about the senior Gynae Laparoscopic surgeon. Thanks With Regards Dr J S Chowhan |
