I suffer from sliding hiatal hernia (3-4 cm long). I now suffer from acid reflux, gas, belching, and severe constipation. I have been taking medicines for two years but they are not working. My question to you is please let me know what is the latest technology available in your hospital for my sliding hiatal hernia repair, in addition to the Nissen fundoplication technique and the approximate cost of it. |

Dear Jagjeet Singh The best surgery for sliding Hiatal Hernia will be Nissen Fundoplication. TIF and LINX procedures are not done in India because their implants are not available here. The cost of Nissen will be around Rupees one lakh Fifty thousand only. Thanks With Regards Dr J S Chowhan |
