I am 28 yrs old and im married since 2012 but until now i didn't have a chance to conceive and my doctor found that my both fallopian tubes are obstructed by hydrosalpinx and i did a surgery for my tubes one year ago and now i want to do IVF so i would like to know if that hydrosalpinx may harm a baby and how it works both hydrosalpinx and ivf. |

Dear Girgila In Hydrosalpinx the tube is dilated and the fluid is infective in nature and may cause endometritis and hamper in the implantation of the fertilized ovum in IVF. So in such cases either the tubes are clipped or B/L salpingectomy is done before IVF. You may consult the IVF specialist about the treatment of hydrosalpinx before starting the IVF.
