Report stating,Uterine fibroid, Uterus: Anteverted, measuring 128x88x87 mm. Intramural fibroid is present at anterior wall displacing the endometrium measuring 84x91mm. Endometrial thickness measures 6mm. A month ago my hemoglobin level dropped to 7.4, after which i was given 2 iron drips, after 12 days my levels reached 9.4, my doctor is saying I need to have a hysterectomy immediately, is it necessary? Or should I get a second opinion and wait and see? |

Dear Saira You have only written about your reports. you have not said anything about your complaints, your age, whether married, if yes how many children, their age etc. All these have bearing on the treatment. Nonetheless Laparoscopic myomectomy is advised in your case |
