my wife is having multiple fibroids in uterus, three fibroids have grown to 47 x 34 mm ,42 x 39 mm and 36 x 28 mm as per last USG report. my doctor advised to remove these fibroids by surgery. can you please advise if this could be done by laproscopic myomectomy or not? if yes what would be the proceedure and cost of whole proceedure including all the expenses, time including bed rest in hospital as well as at home for normal work life. Thanks & Regards Rahul misra |

Dear Rahul Misra Laparoscopic myomectomy can be done for the removal of the fibroids as per the ultrasound report of your wife. but it is advisable to get one MRI pelvis of your wife done to know the exact size and location of the fibroids. The cost of the procedure will be Rs. 1,20,000/- approximately. she will need bed rest for 7 to 10 days. It will take 2 to 3 weeks to return to normal day to day work. Thanks dr J S Chowhan |
