hi doc am zipporah from Kenya last I was rushed into the emergency with acute pain in my right abdominal side n after scan I was diagnosed with a gall stone 1.8cm n was advised to have it surgery remove it .so am seeking for your advice and how much would it cost . thanking you zipporah |

Dear Zipporah The gold standard treatment for gall bladder stone is Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy i.e. the removal of the gall bladder by minimal access surgery. The cost of this surgery would be US$ 2,000-2500/-. You may send all the blood and ultrasound reports for further advice. Thanks With Regards Dr. J S Chowhan |
