this is regd -68 YR old woman suffering from pain abdomen for 8 months. ct scan reveals poorly marginated hypodense lesion in the head of pancreas(2.5 to 3cm) causing obstruction of common bile duct and pancreatic duct, significant obliteration of lumen of adjacent superior mesenteric vein , obliteration of fat with adjacent superior mesenteric artery, IVC and left renal vein. Peripancreatic lymphadenopathy. what your recommendations? |

Dear Hardit The patient is having advanced cancer of the head of the pancreas. The only treatment at this stage is only palliative and ERCP and stenting can be done. Thanks With Regards dr j S chowhan |
