I have a 6*3 cm intramural fibroid in the posterior wall of uterus, and have severe symptoms. I am 26 years old, getting married this year. I am extremely worried about conceiving after marriage. Will I be ever able to give birth safely. How can I be cured. Is laparoscopy possible in my case, as it is in the posterior wall. Please help. |

Dear Harshita The laparoscopic myomectomy is the ideal treatment for the posterior fibroid. This is not only safer but also better than the open surgery. You may consult laparoscopic surgeon in your town or may send us the reports for further advice. Thanks With Regards Dr J S Chowhan |
