Dear Nang PUJ obstruction with hydronephrosis is congenital disease and starts in childhood. The thorough work up of the patient with IVP and DTPA scan is must for initial assessment and follow up. The disease is curable if surgery is done early before any renal damage has taken place. Thanks With Regards Dr J S Chowhan |
