growth seen in sigmoid 40 cm from anal verge cicumferental biopsies taken. In new of inl=flamation & recent Wo obstsuoted r groin hernia - scope could not be negotiated beyond growth. CT Scan report : Impression : * Mild diffuse circumferential thickening of wall of sigmoid colon on right side extending for a length of apprx.6.00 cms with adjecent percolonic fat stranding.Possibility of inflammatory / neoplastic etilogy former being more likely , colonoscopy and histopatholgical coorrelation is suggested. *Multiple small diverticuli in sigmoid and dscending colon. *Bilateral inguinal hernia with herniation of omentum on right side and small part of sigmoid colon with omental fat on left side. |
