I had burst gangrene Apendisitis and peritinitous a full wash out and part of my bowel removed a year ago but my stomach is healing inwards and no mater what I do I can't lose weight I don't over eat and I don't drink alcohol. I find it very uncomfortable is this normal? I was cut straight down the front from above my belly button to my groin. |

Dear Marissa, Your increase in weight is not due to the surgery done. You can reduce your weight by dieting and exercising. Your increased weight might be due to bed rest after the surgery. With regards Nidhi |
