Married for 9 years with no pregnancy. Diagnosed with PCOS. Irregular mrensuration cycle. 5 unsuccessful IUI. Dr says unknown infertility. What do you suggest? How much does it cost for diagnostic laparoscopy? Thanks. |

Dear Priti, You should get your PCOD treated first. You should consult a physician and take medication as prescribed. Hopefully after that you wont be having problem in conceiving. If problem still remains with conceiving then you can get Diagnostic Laparoscopy and Laparoscopic Tubal Patency test done to see where exactly the problem is. The cost of Diagnostic Laparoscopy at World Laparoscopy Hospital is Rs.35000 only. With regards Nidhi |

Dear Vidya, The most common cause of female infertility is the failure to ovulate, which occurs in 40% of women with infertility issues. Not ovulating can result from several causes, such as: Ovarian or gynecological conditions, such as primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). |
