Dear Mr. Unfortunately there is no way to remove the scar of fibrosis developed due to healed tuberculosis scar. People with latent TB have been infected by the TB bacteria but are neither ill with the disease nor able to transmit it. Such people have a lifetime risk of only 10% of falling ill with TB, according to the WHO. About one-third of the world's population, or more than two billion people, have latent TB.
