Kidney Stone Problem

Having lower back and left abdomen pain since last 5 days.done usg for stone and it shown left kidney swelling but no stone traced .Dr told may be it moved out of kidney due to small size. Still having mild pain which is less than previous one but come when painkiller effect go down. Today done KFT test and all was within range including creatine, uric nitrogen, uric acid. Only electrolytes was not in range.sodium 132 (range 136-145) potassium 5.9 (3.5-5.1) chloride 95 (98-107). No other issue except mild pain in lower back and abdomen along with gastric problem. Should continue painkiller as already 5-6 days. I'd it normal to have mild pain after stone goes down from kidney or body . |

Dear Rahul, It may be a ureteric stone, you can do IVP(intravenous pyelogram) or CECT KUB, it will give you better idea about your stone. As you have mild pain you can continue with the pain killer. Lets us know after you are done with your tests. |
