Dear Puja The size of the cyst is large. You need to go for the surgery for the removal of the cyst. Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy can be done for the removal of the cyst. It the cyst is not removed and if it keeps on increasing in the size than it can effect the fertility. Laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy is the treatment of choice as it involves small incision, recovery is fast, hospital stay is minimal, you need to stay in hospital for just one day. As you have mention that cyst is present in both the ovaries surgery will be sophisticated. The main aim of the surgery will be to save the ovaries. |

Dear Anju, During a woman's menstrual cycle, an egg grows in a sac called a follicle. This sac is located inside the ovaries. In most cases, this follicle or sac breaks open and releases an egg. But if the follicle doesn't break open, the fluid inside the follicle can form a cyst on the ovary. |
