Dear Anshita The size of the lesion in the uterus is wrong it cant be 30 cm it should be in mm. You have been suffering from the fibroid in the uterus and the cyst in the left ovary. You can go for the laparoscopy surgery there will be no problem in that. Laparoscopic myomectomy and laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy can be done. |

Hi....em 25 years old...i have a fibroid of 2.8cm × 2.8 cm in myometrium of posterior wall....will i need laproscopy....or can i conceive... Dear Anum Fibroids are abnormal growths that develop in or on a woman’s uterus. Sometimes these tumors become quite large and cause severe abdominal pain and heavy periods. In other cases, they cause no signs or symptoms at all. The growths are typically benign (noncancerous). Yes you can go for the laparoscopic surgery for this. Laparoscopic myomectomy is the surgery in which the fibroid is removed from the uterus. The size of the fibroid is not so big in your case but it will good if it gets removed and will not disturb your fertility or pregnancy. |
