I am a 39 year old female, mother of two and weighing 67 kgs. In a blood test I have been noted high ALP level, subsequently I had sonography of whole abdomin. The report suggested a single large calculus of size 15x5 mm. I have no symptoms. Kindly advise the proper treatment and future impacts of it on health. |

Dear Bhawna Sharma As your ALP is high and you have a large calculus ideally you should get laparoscopic cholecystectomy done. In rare condition Gallstone can be a cause of Malignancy so it is better to get it removed. With regard Dr Rahul Registrar World Laparoscopy Hospital |
