hello doctor, we got married in dec 14,soon my wife conceived,but had to abort the baby in 5th mth[1 june 16] due to foetal hydrocephaleus,since then my wife is not able to conceive,TORCH test done 3mth later showed,raised IgG FOR RUBELLA & CMV, but IgM was within normal limits;Recently 0n 8/5/17 got HSG test done,showed ; 1.distal end of right tube is dilated with adequate spillage. 2.uterus is anteverted & normal in size & POSITION 3.right fallopian tubes are normal in calibre showing bilateral free peritoneal spill of contrast 4.no abnormality is noted in bilateral adenexa IMPRESSIONS; features of right hydrosalpinx adequate spill. one of the gynae doctor suggested to start akt3,my wife never had TB, her recent CHEST X RAY IS NORMAL, should we plan pregnancy next month,is it safe to be pregnant with hydrosalpinx,or should we start akt3 & plan pregnancy 3-4 mths later.kindly help us |

Dear Dinesh You need to confirm is your wife suffering from the TB or not. If she is than you need to go for the ATT treatment. Coming to the hsg report impression shows right tube have hydrosalpinx but it have adequate spill and the left tube is well functioning so you need not worry you can plan for the pregnancy.
