I have bilateral ovarian cyst on my 2 ovaries. After careful watching for over 6months, Ii has not reduced and hindering fertility because I am currently not ovulating. I think I also have hormonal imbalance. Please assist with your suggestions. Thank you. |

Dear Abigail You need to mention the size of the cyst and your age. If the cyst is causing you problem and effecting the fertility than you need to go for the surgery for this. laparoscopic cystectomy is the procedure that is going to help you. Laparoscopic is the procedure which is done by making 3 to 4 holes in the abdomen and passing telescope and instrument through the hole and carrying out the surgery. With Regards Dr Rahul |

Infrequent complications associated with ovarian cysts include: Ovarian torsion. Cysts that enlarge can cause the ovary to move, increasing the chance of painful twisting of your ovary (ovarian torsion). Symptoms can include an abrupt onset of severe pelvic pain, nausea and vomiting. |
