I got sigmoidopexy in Germany a few months ago and since the last operation, the sigmoidpexy has made things worse. The colon peristalsis is hindered as the sigmoid colon is stuck against the sidewall making it hard to go to the washroom, pass gas, or have any quality of life. The adhesions were on the sidewall and the sigmoidopexy just put the colon back into the adhesions and my sigmoid is fixed and cannot move contents forward. My old surgeon who I was getting results from was taking the sigmoid off the sidewall away from the wounds using a spray shield and 3 liters of adept and putting it in the middle like shown below to prevent the colon from going back to the sidewall which helped me and I was wondering if this is possible. He made it so the sigmoid was going down the middle straight to the rectum. I am suffering badly and I believe the sigmoidopexy is contributing to this problem and I was wondering if you think this could be done. My worry with resection of the sigmoid colon is I will End up with similar issues I have with the sigmoidopexy and more adhesions but I am open to it as I am badly suffering. I believe the sigmoidpexy I have now is what’s contributing to my problem as the colon cannot move properly all fixated. |

I have doubt that again performing laparoscopic surgery and freeing the sigmoid colon and the filling the Adapt for preventing adhesion really works. The only option left for you which may have some effect possible is sigmoidectomy but as I have told you earlier that unfortunately this procedure also can not be guaranteed. |
