I am Ashif, age (58) (height 172 cm) weight (85 Kilograms) working as a Senior System Engineer at Baker Hughes. Basra/IRAQ.

1. CABG surgery had been done on me in 2007. Two grafts have been implanted in my cardiac. During the Anesthesia the condition was complicated and have a cardiac arrest because of the bad conditions,
Finally, the operation was done after resuscitation by cardiac massage after an emergent chest opening.

2. I had an Abdomen hernia in 2014 by traditional operation without putting any mish. partial Spinal Anesthesia.

3. The hernia recurrent again on the same side, beside the old one. I can feel the diameter of the hernia by 5-6 CMs

I am writing to you because I need to have an operation to get my abdomen repaired, and need to understand whether laparoscopic surgery is recommended for this operation or the old traditional surgery and why?

Your answer to my email will be followed by many arrangements that need to be regulated before coming to UAE.

Dear Sir,

We can perform recurrent incisional hernia surgery but before that, we have to do the proper cardiac evaluation. I want to clear you that laparoscopic hernia repair can not be performed under local or regional anesthesia. It has to be done under general anesthesia. Your previous history of cardiac arrest needs proper cardiac evaluation and checkup by our anesthetist. If you want this surgery you should come to World Laparoscopy Hospital India. As in the Dubai center, we have a training institute.
