Dear Mrs. Yadav Sometimes, heavy but other times, abnormal bleeding and irregular periods can be caused by uterine submucous fibroids. Fibroids often cause painful and unpleasant symptoms. Common complications are fibroids heavy bleeding, prolonged periods, bleeding between periods, abdominal pain and cramps, frequent urination, pelvic pain and pressure, pain during sexual intercourse, anemia, and debilitating fatigue. Because your mother is elderly I advise you to go for laparoscopic hysterectomy. |
